My comment on HuffPo TV
drifted into issues of the Supreme Court ruling and changing the world through
public policy verses personal witness.
Further, I have come to respect that I can't force my
beliefs on others by controlling public policy for tax payers and other U.S.
citizens.
Jesus never sought to change
the world through public policy but rather through personal transformation.
All people didn't embrace him
either. That's what I said and what I meant.... Nothing more and nothing less.
Just because a so-called Christian publication chooses
to misconstrue my words using lazy journalistic tactics to further their own
agenda and draw attention to their site does not make their statements an
accurate depiction of what I said or meant.
Investigate.
Do not take everything you
read online or hear repeated as truth. When asked about the "black
church" and its role in ministering to gay people, I briefly mentioned (we
were running out of time) the word “evolved and evolving" regarding my
approach over the 39 years of my ministry to gay people who choose to come to
our services.
I simply meant that my method
is evolving -- not my message. I was SHOCKED to read that this was manipulated
in a subsequent article to say I endorsed same sex marriage! My position on the
subject has been steadfast and rooted in scripture.
For the record, I do not
endorse same sex marriage but I respect the rights that this country affords
those that disagree with me.

Having read it just now I can tell you with all
certainty that this statement is an utter fabrication. He is on video stating that he supports
homosexual “marriage” because he does, he spoke what was in his heart and now
he is trying to backpedal with fancy words to make everyone think that the
media twisted his words.
And even if someone believed
that lie how can you deny his “friendship” with Oprah Winfrey who is one of the
most influential new age teacher around?

TD Jakes is NOT “reproving” Oprah
and ministering the word of God to her, he’s FELLOWSHIPPING with her! He has
her teaching a “life class” / “new age way of living” class at megafest!!! WHY
would a “man of God” ask a new age teacher to teach a class at his “bible” conference
if he is a child of light, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven, and she is a child
of satan, of the darkness?! Answer: no REAL man of God would!
I am very sad to say that TD
Jakes has become a friend of the world and the Christians who refuse to open
their eyes and see this are helping him with his new age doctrine of demons. #falseteachers

Breaking down of the word
definitions, this verse could also read like this:
Ye ungodly and those who
relapse into idolatry and play the harlot (traitors), know ye not that the
