James 4:4 - Friend of the World

I have just done a very fascinating study on James 4:4 and thought I would share it with all of you. 


James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Breaking down of the word definitions, this verse could also read like this:
Ye ungodly and those who relapse into idolatry and play the harlot (traitors), know ye not that the friendship of (with) the ungodly multitude, the whole mass of men alienated from God, and therefore hostile to the cause of Christ cause (of) enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a, an associate with the ungodly multitude is the hated of God.
