We know the why, so the question becomes who?
Why? Because they were prominent citizens and that would
make the town look bad. Oh no, we can’t have that! We must not
soil their good names don’t cha know!
It’s the same reason they cover for every one who works for
It’s the same reason they cover for every one who works for
the city that embezzled, it will make the town look bad if the truth
comes out. So what happens? The guilty are always protected
and the innocent go to jail; I know because I’ve seen it happen!
So I ask again, Who did the covering? (And here’s a hint, I’m not
talking about embezzling.)
