Craig Devon Deaver, 56 year old loving husband and father, of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of California, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 in Altus.


Craig was born in Oxnard, California on August 25, 1959 to his parents, Guy and Patricia (Kempster) Deaver. In 1982 he married Cathy Reinke in Ventura, California and they were married for over 33 years. He received a bachelor’s in computer science and worked as weapons analyst for the civil service on Navy ships for 27 years. Craig spent most of his life in California and had resided in Altus for the last nine years. He was a caring person and always helped other people in need and he enjoyed working on computers and fixing things. Craig loved his family very much and he will be missed greatly.


Preceded in death by his parents, Craig is survived by his wife, Cathy Deaver of the home and their son, Jesse Lee Deaver of Altus; one sister, Penny Fisher and Atlanta, Georgia; and mother-in-law, Joyce Wissell and her husband Ron of Altus; as well as other family members and many friends.


The family will greet friends at visitation from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.


A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Lowell-Tims Chapel in Altus with Brother Boyd Whitehead officiating. Cremation services will follow under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you beautiful women out there. 

Let No Man Put Asunder Word Study

If you call yourself a "Christian" couple and there is no Holy righteousness and jealousy over the fact that your spouse is good friends with the opposite sex then either God didn't put you together or you are ignorant of the scriptures.

NO ONE, for any reason, should come between a man and wife. PERIOD! No ministry, no supposed prophesy, no work done in the church, no friendship with the opposite sex, no other church, not even your pets should come between you, not if you’re really walking in alignment with the scriptures.

That means that you don’t give someone of the opposite sex a ride if your spouse is not with you. You’re not hanging out not eh phone with someone of the opposite sex. You don’t sit with someone of the opposite sex unless it’s a family member. Nothing and no one should be between you because fi they are then why are you even together?

Perhaps God didn’t put you together and you got saved afterwards and you want God to bless your marriage and that’s good but if that’s the case then the two of you need to get together and cut off some old communications and cut that thing off.

Here is a word study on what “let no man put asunder” really means. You will notice that they mean the same thing in both scriptures because it is by two or more witnesses that something is established so I pray this blesses you.

Right Now In The Secret Place God Is Preparing A Generation Of Ezekiels

Right now, in the secret place, God is preparing a generation of Ezekiels. They are nameless, faceless voices.

He is plucking them from office jobs and universities, from tattoo parlors and bars, from dry churches and kitchens where they cook dinner with a baby on their hip, from the mission field and the prayer room. He's whispering to them in the night, shaking their circumstances and erasing the lines of their neatly drawn comfort zones.

They are learning to walk through fire. They are forsaking fear and falling madly back in love with their First love. They are being ruined to everything else, spoiled by His presence. They won't want the world ever again, not after what they've seen and felt Him do.

They will be a peculiar people, an upside down people. Turning the other cheek to their enemy, blessing those who curse them, giving everything they've got to those who can't give anything back. They will make Jesus' name famous by choosing the altar over the audience.

They will live a laid down life, broken and poured out like an alabaster box. They will not forget what they were rescued from, and will live with reckless abandon for the one whom they call Savior.

They will raise an army of dry bones to life with the Power of the Almighty they've submitted to. Signs and wonders will follow them and favor will be bound to their heads. They are marked. They are bold. They will not shrink back.

They are revival, burning hard and fierce. The fire in them is unquenchable.

Just wait. When you hear their voices you will know that they are sent. You will know that they are chosen.

But right now they are silent, weeping between porch and altar, being firmly rooted in an eternal paradigm. They are being sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. And with those readied feet they will run over glass, coals, lava if they have to. They won't slow down. They won't draw attention to their own able feet but instead, they will proclaim that there is one on His way, one who they aren't worthy to tie the sandals of.

Get ready, nations, this remnant is being prepared. They will shake the entire world. They will ask questions that demand answers, they will carry an anointing that cannot be denied. They will not relent in their cries for heaven and mercy and miracles. The Truth is in them, and it is stirring, building, nearing the moment that it breaks forth.

You'll know it's time when you hear their voices. The nameless, faceless ones.

Valentine’s Day & Nimrod: The Original Cupid

Pictured to the left is an artist’s depiction of the original “Saint Valentine” of “Saturnia,” which was later on renamed as the city of “Rome.” According to Babylonian history, Nimrod was being pursued by a bounty hunt of men who were commissioned by Shem (the son of Noah) to find him and kill him for his many crimes against children. According to the book of Yasher (Jasher), it was Esau (the twin brother of Jacob) who ultimately killed Nimrod.

Nimrod’s demise is accurately described in Isaiah 14:12 where he is said to be “cut down to the ground,” just like a tree. Nimrod’s other alias is “Ba’al,” the god of the sun and the tree. This proph-ecy is about Satan himself who was once a “covering cherub” at the throne in heaven (see Ezekiel 28). After his rebellion towards the Most High, he was cast out of heaven and he masqueraded as the serpent in the Garden of Eden. But he also masqueraded as the “King of Tryus.” Tyrus was an ancient Phonecian city on the Eastern Coast of the Mediterranean Sea which today is called Lebanon.

Nimrod’s crimes were many, but the most heinous of his crimes was the sacrificing of infants on the altar to Moloch (aka Satan). When Nimrod fled from his pursuers, he hid himself in the Mountains of Nembrod also called the Mountains of Nimrod. Today, these very same mountains are called the “Apennine Mountains” and they are located in Rome, Italy. These are the same mountains which surround the Vatican, otherwise known as “The Seven Hills of Rome.”

The Ides of the Month in Paganism: Why February 14th?

Why should the Romans have chosen February 15th and the evening of February 14th to honor Lupercus -- the Nimrod of the Bible? Well, first of all, it is important to understand that since the creation, a new calendar date changed at sunset, the evening before.

Nimrod (the Ba’al or sun-god of the ancient pagans) was said to have been born at the winter solstice. In ancient times the solstice occurred on January 6th and his birthday therefore was celebrated on January 6th. Later, as the solstice changed, it was celebrated on December 25th and is now called Christmas. It was the custom of antiquity for the mother of a male child to present herself for purification on the fortieth day after the day of birth (Leviticus 12:2-5). The fortieth day after January 6th (Nimrod’s original birth-date) takes us to February 15th, the celebration of which began on the evening of February 14th the Lupercalia or St. Valentine’s Day.

On this day in February, Semiramis, the mother of Nimrod, was said to have been PURIFIED and to have appeared for the first time in public with her son as the original “mother & child.” The Roman month February, in fact, derives its name from the “februa” which the Roman priests used in the rites celebrated on St. Valentine’s Day. The “februa” were thongs from the skins of sacrificial animals used in rites of purification on the evening of February 14th.
